How will I feel after PRK?
A question we get asked frequently is ‘How will I feel after PRK?’ and the answer is, you’ll feel ecstatic! Why? Because you’ve just had laser vision correction!
You’re probably also wondering, are you going to be comfortable after the procedure? Or perhaps you’re wondering, what will your vision be like after surgery? The answer is, you’ll be pretty comfortable.
You might experience a bit of niggling discomfort in the background that may go on for two or three days, and the odd sharp twinge, but otherwise, you’ll feel fine.
Your vision will initially be slightly hazy, with a little blurriness around days 3, 4, and 5, but don’t worry as this will be followed by a rapid improvement.
What’s more, it doesn’t slow you down too much from the things you want to do, although you will need to make some allowances for a few days while you recover. But don’t worry, we’ll talk you through that when we see you.
