Your treatment will be performed in a theatre environment, with fully trained specialist theatre staff, assuring the highest cleanliness and safety levels.
We have also equipped our surgical suites with HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) filters, which safely remove more than 99.97% of airborne particles.

Since introducing laser eye surgery to New Zealand in 1992, Eye Institute has continued to invest in bringing you the most advanced surgical and diagnostic vision correction equipment and treatment available.
Eye Institute can provide all laser vision correction options. We will help you to find the most suitable treatment option for your eyes.
Modern, precise cataract surgery techniques mean recovery is quick. You can be back to normal activity within days.
Eye Institute has a fully equipped on-site vitreoretinal theatre. For retinal surgery, the Constellation Vision System helps to ensure a safe and fast recovery from vitrectomy.
Eye Institute is a dedicated, purpose-built and exceptionally well-equipped eye clinic that focuses on providing specialised care for our patients.
To ensure you are stress-free and comfortable when you come for your eye treatment, we invest continually in keeping our eye clinic up to date. It’s not just state of the art equipment, we’ve also designed a state of the art space, where the design, décor and furnishings will all help you relax.
Our main eye clinic in Remuera is easily accessible from the SH1 motorway, with plenty of free parking and lift access.
However, you may find it more convenient to visit one of our satellite clinics throughout Auckland, including Eye Institute North Shore, Eye Institute New Lynn and the Eye Institute South in Manukau.
These smaller clinics are well equipped and staffed by our experienced specialist eye doctors. However, for some procedures, you may still need to visit the main clinic in Remuera.
Our Hawke’s Bay clinic provides a comprehensive range of surgical and medical eye care services.
