To our patients

Important information – how Eye Institute can support you during the COVID-19 restrictions

As of Wednesday 25 March, we are closing our facilities for general consultations and non-urgent appointments & procedures.

Please be assured that we will continue to provide professional support to you and your family.

Our dedicated Doctors and teams will be available to discuss any concerns you may have, deliver urgent care, take referrals, provide repeat prescriptions and professional advice.

Our phone lines remain open and all enquiries will be directed to the staff who can best assist with your care. For urgent assessments and procedures, we will have limited opening hours and will arrange appropriate time for you to be treated. If you have an existing appointment our secretarial team will be in contact with you over the next few days.

We are continuing to schedule routine and new patient appointments to fall outside the government restriction period. We will be ensuring all our patients can be seen and treated as soon as the government restrictions are lifted.

Referrals, appointment scheduling and general enquiries will be made through our normal number 0800 99 2020.

Please note our facilities are not open for any walk-in enquires or appointments. We are also unable to see any patients who have returned from overseas within the last 14-days, or who have been in contact with anyone suspected of, or confirmed of having COVID-19.

We will continue to keep you updated, and we thank you for your understanding and remain committed to helping you and your family with any vision concerns.

Please stay safe and take care during this challenging time
