Eye Institute Annual Optometry Conference 2024

On Sunday 10th November, we held our annual optometry conference at Aotea Centre. We were blown away by such an impressive turnout, with well over 200 optometrists arriving from out of town to attend, as well as across Auckland.

It was lovely to see so many familiar faces, and  also to have the opportunity to meet optometrists travelling from the South Island and around other parts of the country. Thank you to everyone who took time out of your weekend to join us and make it such an enjoyable event.

Our doctors presented on updates in eye health care, research updates, how to identify eye concerns, and shared interesting cases. Followed by some lively discussion panels with our groups of doctors – some great questions put forward by the attendees encouraging some entertaining debates.
