What to expect at your appointment
How to prepare for your appointment
  • Bring your glasses for distance, reading or bifocals.
  • Bring with you any supporting documentation about your eye condition, including medical reports and current medications. Please also bring along your most recent optician’s examination report, if possible.
  • Complete the online Patient registration form ahead of your appointment.
When possible, it is helpful to remove contact lenses for 2 days prior to your appointment. Removing them allows your corneal surface to return to its natural shape before the initial eye screening. If you wear hard contacts it is ideal to remove these for a longer period before your consultation, please give us a call on 0800 99 2020 and we can advise you of the best option for your needs. If removing your contacts for a period of time before your consultation is not convenient for you, this is not essential, but it is helpful to give us a quick call and notify us in advance.
